A little friendly competition sparked inspiring generosity when three Carriage Healthcare–managed communities — Holton Manor (Elkhorn), East Troy Manor (East Troy), and Geneva Lake Manor (Lake Geneva) — joined forces to support the Tri-County Riders’ 31st Annual Toy Run. This longstanding event rallies hundreds of motorcyclists and community members to benefit Love, Inc.’s Christmas Program in Burlington. Love, Inc. serves families across Walworth, Western Racine, and parts of Kenosha Counties, ensuring local children have gifts and support during the holiday season.
Throughout August, the three Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing INc. (WISH) facilities held a friendly toy drive competition that fueled the Toy Run’s mission. Residents, families, staff, and neighbors all contributed—filling boxes with toys and donations, and showing tremendous community spirit. In the end, Geneva Lake Manor took the top spot for most toys collected, though every community played a vital role in making the season brighter for local families.
The Toy Run has a proud history of impact, with past events raising as much as $20,000 annually to bring holiday cheer to more than 900 children through Love, Inc.’s Adopt-a-Family program.
